Lilly Y. Chan M.S., L.Ac., Dipl.Ac., Dipl. C.H., received her Masters of Science in Acupuncture and Oriental Chinese Medicine from South Baylo University in Anaheim, California. She completed her undergraduate Studies at Shaanxi Training College of Science and Technology in China, and she is also a Certified Acupuncture practitioner from Guangdong Province Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine School.
In addition to her formal education she received additional training in Acupuncture from The Harbor Hospital of Haungpu District, Canton China, and in the wards and outpatient department of the Architectural Staff and Worker Hospital, Guangdong China. This additional training provided her with a wider range of experience in treating both acute and chronic pain caused by different diseases or conditions; especially injuries due to work, sports and auto accidents.
She is National Board (NCCAOM) certified as a Diplomate of both Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology, and holds a license in California, Massachusetts and Texas.

 

Dr. Chan believes in treating the whole person rather than just the ailment.  She uses her gifts of healing and nurturing combined with her vast knowledge of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) to provide gentle and natural relief from pain and/or illness. Her goal is to create balance within the body which leads to restored health, relief from pain and a renewed state of well being.  Each patient receives an initial exam and consultation which allows Dr. Chan to create a customized treatment plan that may include a variety of TCM techniques.  We believe that you won't find a more comprehensive approach to acupuncture and Chinese herbology anywhere in the area!  Dr. Chan invites you to stop by, call, or email with any questions you may have about acupuncture or Traditional Chinese Medicine.

We have therapists who have been licensed in massage therapy since 1999.  While credited with providing a fabulous relaxation massage our therapists are also experienced in sports massage, deep tissue, Swedish massage, hot stone massage, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, Thai Yoga massage, and reflexology.  We have therapists who have also worked with fibromyalgia clients using natural reflex points to provide relief from the unique pain of fibromyalgia.  One of our therapists worked for several years in the physical therapy and rehabilitation setting.  and is an avid student of both Thai Chi and Kung Fu as well. Studying these ancient arts has broadened their understanding of the human body, mind and spirit, and all that it is capable of! 

We are conveniently located in the heart of Friendswood.  Our clients come from all around us, including Alvin, Pearland, Webster, Clear Lake, League City, Houston, and beyond!  Our clinic opened in February 2008 to serve the community by providing high quality, professional massage and Traditional Chinese Medicine services from highly qualified, experienced therapists.
